The Sun Fast 30 One Design is a fairly new class of yacht which is offering affordable racing with in easy to sail one design 30 foot boats. The class Nationals is the last event of the sun fast 30 championship however the boats will be the class of yacht used for the 2025 Double Handed Offshore World Championships, in which I have been selected to represent New Zealand.The Class Nationals was a great opportunity to sail the boats for the first time and also with my co-skipper for the worlds Megan Thomson!

The Admirals Cup! This trophy has a long running history of the most elite sailors from around the world converging in Cowes to win the historic cup. Cowes being known for challenging sailing conditions lived up to its reputation throughout the event, with no day the same as another.

The Admirals Cup’s long waited return kicked off on Saturday with the first race of the event being the Chanel Race!

I’m excited to officially launch my solo offshore sailing campaign with the goal of competing in La Solitaire du Figaro in 2026 — one of the toughest and most respected solo races in the world.

With Admirals Cup just around the corner, the 2025 IRC National Championships was incredibly important as it would be one of the final opportunities for us to hone in our skills on board the boat. With most teams entered in the Admirals Cup competing in this regatta, it would be a good indicator to see how we lined up against the other boats.

Organised by the RORC with the support of Cap-Regatta, Yacht Club de France, Lorient Grand Large and Jeanneau, the 2025 Offshore Double Handed World Championship will be held in Cowes, Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom, from 22 September to 1 October 2025.

The famous Myth of Malham Race run by the Royal Ocean Racing Club was shaping up to be a spicy one a few days prior to the start. The weather forecasts showing a strong south-westerly breeze meant reaching Eddystone lighthouse would be tricky for some. How the newly refitted Jolt 6 (Carkeek 42) would perform in these conditions was a question we were questioning wether to find out..

The start of a new and exciting partnership has begun. Oakley Marsh and Southern X Racing has partnered with Big Blue Ocean Foundation, a partnership aimed at creating awareness of the challenges we face with ocean pollution, educating on how we can improve and taking action!

Easter Challenge. A three day regatta run by the Royal Ocean Racing Club is the first major regatta to kick start the 2025 sailing season. Run out of Cowes UK this year saw a range of weather conditions, none less challenging than the other.

The prestigious event returns in 2025, the Admirals Cup which has previously been classed as the world cup in offshore racing.

The Millennium cup! New Zealand’s largest and most iconic superyacht regatta, hosted by a beautiful Auckland city to start of February.
