WHAT A YEAR!
From starting the year in New Zealand sailing The Millennium Cup to winning one of the most prestigious yacht racing trophies The Admirals Cup!
2025 was a busy one, filled with lots of sailing, lots of travelling and lots of work.
This year I was working with Team Malizia and 11th hour racing over the Imoca season, including The Ocean Race Europe and finishing with the Transat Cafe L'or. A Fun year working and sailing in the unique locations that the Imoca racing circuit took us, some highlights.. Blasting down the solent at 30knots and cruising around the bays of Montenegro at the Ocean Race Europe Finale. Working within team Malizia as a rigger has opened a lot of doors for me however as 2026 approaches my goal is to be shifting away from the technical aspect and focusing more on my sailing pathway and goals.
This year I also had the fantastic opportunity to be apart of Yacht Club de Monaco's Jolt sailing team, in the quest to win The Admirals Cup! This campaign stretched from March to July for me, full of training blocks and racing. During this campaign I learnt a lot, sailed with some incredible sailors, finished my first Fastnet Race and in the end was able to lift the Admirals Cup above my head! What a wild ride this was and although it was tough at times, I was able to walk away with some incredible memories.
To top it all off I have been working on my own sailing campaign and represented New Zealand at the Sunfast 30 Nationals and the Double Handed Offshore World Champs. This year I also launched my campaign to compete in the 2026 Figaro season!
So a year full of learnings and a year full of great experiences. Now as the year comes to an end, I continue my mission to make it on the start line of La Solitaire du Figaro 2026. Taking on a challenge only those crazy enough enough dare!
Now I have Launched this campaign, I am looking to explore and connect with people, organisations and companies to join on this crazy adventure and challenge. Building a unique story centred around performance, sustainability and tackling challenges head-on.
